Located on the outskirts of Houston, the project responds to a suburban context by introducing a mixed-use development that balances public activity, private residential life and wellness-focused retreat functions.
The shopping center is positioned closest to the main street as the public gateway to the development, while the residential component forms a central transition between active and quieter zones.
Wellness-oriented programs, including the wellness hotel and dedicated center, are placed toward the greener rear portion of the site where the landscape becomes more immersive and restorative.
A major green corridor works both as a recreational landscape and as a flood-resilient ecological buffer, reinforcing the idea that healthy living should be embedded into the community's everyday structure.
