The Life Co St. Lucia
A tropical wellbeing retreat planned around open-air transitions, landscape integration and a hospitality experience that feels restorative rather than theatrical.
Located on the lush Caribbean island of St. Lucia, the project combines new facilities and accommodation units with existing structures to create a single, coherent retreat environment. The architecture is intentionally open, breathable and closely tied to the rhythms of the climate.
At the center of the project is a dedicated wellness facility that brings together therapy rooms, consultation spaces, spa functions and social areas. The planning supports both individual treatments and a broader sense of community, allowing the retreat to function as a complete wellbeing destination.
The interiors emphasize calm materiality and sensory balance. Water-based therapy areas, hammam and steam functions, massage rooms, lounge spaces and food-and-beverage touchpoints all work together to support physical renewal and mental clarity.
Accommodation units are distributed through the landscape to preserve privacy and reinforce the idea of retreat. Natural materials, simple detailing and a clear indoor-outdoor relationship help the guest experience feel grounded, healthy and quietly luxurious.
